Pepsi Super Bowl LV Halftime Show 2021

Tampa’s Raymond James Stadium was the home of the Super Bowl LV on February 7th, 2021. LED Lights were installed inside the stadium and on the playing field, to provide exceptional illumination with the capacity of exhibiting 2 million various color options. This year Tom Brady secured his seventh ring, as well as a win of 31-9 for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Bucs made history this year by becoming the first team to win a Super Bowl in their home stadium. The LV Pepsi Super Bowl Halftime Show featured a performance from The Weeknd, which was slightly different than what we, as viewers, are used to. The main stage was positioned on an enormous riser built into the stands instead of the field like previous years. The Weeknd delivered a cinematic performance incorporating a LED lighting visual trip through cosmopolitan cities. The stage displayed bright city lights and sky-high buildings while also creating a feeling of suspense that switched from song to song. The stage was presented with different color tones of lighting to engage the audience into the story behind the songs, while also incorporating a lit up golden maze where the singer himself held the camera in selfie mode as he moved through the room. The intention behind this was to visually transport the viewers and make them feel as if they were in the maze with him.
