About VONN Lighting

1. Why choose VONN?

The VONN brand offers elite LED lighting creations, representing a fusion between innovative technological solutions and aesthetic vision. We are proud to present you with a broad spectrum of LED lighting products, ranging from countryside chalet to contemporary chic, while creating a serene ambience in your home.

2. Where can VONN fixtures be purchased?

VONN fixtures may ONLY be purchased through any Authorized Distributors, both online and showrooms. List of participating Authorized Distributors can be found by visiting our Dealer Locator tab.

3. Are VONN products ETL and UL Certified?

Yes, All VONN lighting fixtures are ETL and UL Certified. UL is an American worldwide safety consulting and certification company. UL was established in 1894 and has participated in the safety analysis of many of the last century’s new technologies, most notably the public adoption of electricity and the drafting of safety standards for electrical devices and components. UL provides safety-related certification, validation, testing, inspection, auditing, advising and training services to a wide range of clients, including manufacturers, retailers, policymakers, regulators, service companies, and consumers.

Warranty / Returns

1. What Warranty do I get when purchasing VONN fixtures?

VONN warrants its products free from defects in material and quality for one (1) year and five (5) years for the LED Light Engines and electrical components. For further warranty details, please visit our warranty page.

Please NOTE: While built-in LED arrays are covered under the 5-year limited warranty, stand-alone LED Light bulbs (shipped with some fixtures) are EXEMPT from VONN 5 Year Limited Warranty.

2. What is your Return Policy and how does the return process work? How and who will issue the refund?

ALL Return and Exchange requests must be processed directly through the Authorized Distributor, where products were purchased from. NO returns will be accepted if shipped directly to VONN. Please contact the Distributor directly and request an RGA / RMA first, prior to shipping the item.

3. Where do I register my product… Is it necessary?

We strongly recommend to register your product. Please visit Product Registration for more information. However, there is NO obligation to register your product. If you have chosen NOT to register recently purchased VONN fixture, your warranty will NOT be voided.

About LED

1. What is LED?

LED – light emitting diode is a small electronic device that emits light when electricity passes through it. LED bulbs are more efficient, saving billions of dollars, decreasing dependence on foreign oil, and significantly reducing greenhouse gases.

2. Are the LED light bulbs included? How do I choose the right color of the LED?

YES… Light bulbs are complementary included with VONN light fixtures. Please refer to Kelvin Color Temperature Chart for LED appearance. Regardless of the LED bulb color appearance, LED bulbs are also dimmable.

3. What are the benefits of the LED?

LED light fixtures are energy-efficient and long-lasting. LED also significantly reduces your energy costs as well as reducing your replacement and maintenance costs. Since LED fixtures do not contain any mercury, they are less toxic than many other light sources therefore are a safer to dispose of.

4. How long will the LED light bulb last?

According to research, LED lighting has a life expectancy of 20,000 to 50,000 hours. At 8 hours per day this would be approximately 14-17 years. This is roughly 30 times longer than incandescent bulbs and 5 times longer than compact fluorescents.

Product Questions

1. Are your fixtures height adjustable?

All VONN chandeliers and several pendants are height adjustable. However, please view the spec sheet for each product to confirm if they are adjustable or not.

2. How do I adjust the height of the cables?

You can adjust the height of the cables by depressing the locking pin, holding the pin in place, and pull down/push up on the cable to reach the desired length

3. Can the wires on the chandeliers/pendants be cut?

DO NOT CUT WIRES attached to the fixture under any circumstance. Cutting wires will VOID your warranty. Excess cable should be neatly looped and tucked into the canopy.

4. How do you prevent the wires from getting tangled when taking the fixture out of the box?

Make sure to first remove the canopy from the box, prior to the fixture body. Failure to do so can potentially lead to the power cords and down cords getting tangled.

5. Can I install the fixture on my own?

Vonn recommends having a licensed professional electrician install the fixture.

6. Are VONN fixtures manufactured in the US?

VONN fixtures are designed in North America/Europe and assembled in Asia.

7. Are VONN fixtures slope compatible?

All VONN chandeliers and certain pendants are slope compatible. However, for further information please contact Customer Care at 1-888-604-8666 or email info@www.vonn.com

8. Can VONN’s ceiling fixtures be installed on the wall?

VONN ceiling fixtures can be installed on any wall as decorative light art.

9. What is VISION by VONN?

The majority of VONN fixtures are compatible with ELV (electric low voltage) dimmers, which are consistent with VONN low voltage drivers, except VISION LINE and Industrial Collection.

10. What kind of switch is recommended for VISION LINE series?

VISION by VONN fixtures requires Single Pole Switches only. VISION by VONN fixtures comes with a complimentary remote control, which operates the Kelvin color changing temperature from 3000K to 6000k and dimming.

11. How do I determine how many lumens are required for a room I am renovating?

To determine the lumens required, first let’s figure out which room you are renovating. Please see the list below of the required lumens per square footage based on the room type:

Living Room – 15 Lumens

Kitchen General – 35 Lumens

Kitchen Stove – 75 Lumens

Dining Room – 35 Lumens

Bedroom – 15 Lumens

Hallway – 10 Lumens

Bathroom – 75 Lumens


Next, calculate the square footage of the room by multiplying the length of the room in feet by the width of the room in feet. Let’s use the bedroom as an example.

11’ x 16’ = 176 sq. ft.

176 sq. ft. x 15 lumens = 2,640 lumens

Please Note: This is just a general estimate. Please take into account the height of the ceiling, the color of the walls, and other multiple variables that may affect the appropriate lumens output. Please refer to a professional to determine the correct lighting for all your renovation needs.

12. Will your modern fixtures suit my traditional/transitional set-up?

VONN fixtures are compatible in any setting, creating an innovative lighting environment for your home/office décor.

13. Are your fixtures compatible with 220V?

VONN fixtures are compatible with 120V. However, we can manufacture fixtures with 220V compatibility. Please request further information via sales@vonn.com.

14. Are your fixtures customizable?

VONN’s fixtures are customizable; however, there is a minimum order quantity. Please contact VONN Sales Team for further information at sales@vonn.com.

15. Are your fixtures UL or ETL certified? What is the difference?

VONN fixtures are either UL or ETL certified. UL and ETL are Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratories (NRTL). NRTLs are in place to provide independent safety and quality certifications on products. The two labs provide very similar product testing services. The UL and ETL marks prove that the product has met the minimum requirements of established and accepted product safety standards, and that the manufacturer agrees to periodic inspections verifying continued compliance with the standards.

5. What Information is required at the time of the call?

In order to process the call and address any of your requests, please have your Original Purchase Order Number, as well as the name of the Authorized Distributor ready at the time of your call. This information will help our Customer Support to locate your record and expedite the call.
